This unique trail project aims to build 30 miles of trail connecting Calf Pasture Beach to Rogers Park in Danbury CT, passing through Wilton, Ridgefield, and Redding along the way. The NRVT offers a healthy transportation alternative to rail stations, schools, offices, and businesses and is handicap-accessible!

Veteran’s Memorial Park and Marina is a park that really has a little bit of something for everyone. Situated on 35 acres, it includes a marina and boat launch site, a playground, bicycle and jogging paths, various fields and courts, visitor docks with full power available! The park also includes a walk esplanade overlooking beautiful calming Norwalk Harbor.

If you need to find your zen in wide open spaces, Cranbury Park has got you covered! Enjoy their park boasting 227 acres that feature a series of wooded trails and a dog friendly environment in the orchard and a stunning great lawn. The park also features a challenging 18-hole Disc Golf Course that winds in and out of the woods.

Looking for a short educational retreat? Visit Mathew’s Park. Here you will find two museums, an arts center, a fantastic playground, tennis courts, picnic areas and a historic cemetery as well as the historic Lockwood-Mathew’s Mansion Museum, described as “one of the earliest and finest surviving Second Empire style country houses ever built in the United States.” Very cool.

Hit the links at Oak Hills Park! This 18-hole golf course features 6,407 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The assorted layout offers a blend of naturally designed holes and presents a variety of challenging shots for golfers of all skill levels.
